Apple Pie
A Family Recipe By My Great-Grandmother Margaret
Apple pie. Now where do I start to explain my love for apple pie. It probably started from my dad, who loves it more than chocolate chip cookies (which for him, is saying something). Or maybe it's from the years of apple picking and then making my Grannanny Margaret's apple pie with the apples we picked. The cinnamon on the apples is so tasty and juicy. My great-grandma sure knew if baking recipes. I am so glad that this is the recipe being passed down, because it is fabulous.
I've always had a deep connection with Grannanny Margaret, probably because she is my namesake. I love making this recipe in honor of her, and I hope you do to.
Enjoy!
